Hey! Long time no post. I decided to try my hand at gradients using the hot new tutorial by the Nailasaurus! However, I must have used old sponges, because I ended up with pieces of sponge on my nails :(
I started with three thin coats of Orly's Skinny Dip. Then I sponged China Glaze Up All Night. I'm rather impressed with my first attempt!
I intend to try again once I get better, newer sponges. I love the look of gradient nails! Also, the Nailasaurus is the ultimate tutorial queen! I am going to try more of them soon!

Day 7 - Black and White
Hello! For the black and white day, I went with two Orly's from the Holiday Soiree collection of last winter - Au Champagne and Androgynie.
My momma came to visit me - she's a piano player. So I stamped my white accent nail with Konad plate m73 for her. She loved it!
Androgynie let me down - not a lot of the hex glitter made it to the nail. I love Au Champagne though! The perfect pearly white. It reminds me of melted marshmellow.
I'm weird when I stamp - I stamp so it looks right to me. I look at my hands a lot. I'm stamping selfish I guess!

Nail Stamping with Orly Sea Gurl
Yeah, I stamp. I'm not very good at it, but I'm in love with this. I got the idea from the konadlicious blog and did my own spin using other colours.
I started with a base of Orly Sea Gurl, which I neglected to photograph before I stamped over it. I used my usual silver stamping polish (CND Silver Chrome) and Bundle Monster Plate 206
I love to stamp - I'm not very good at it, but I think it looks great and I get a lot of complements. What's not to love?

This is actually the closest I've been able to match my thumb, so I'm pretty impressed about it. It's still messy but I wanted to photo it before I chipped or wore it down.

Orly Flirty
Look who's alive!! It's me!! Here with my favourite polish OF ALL TIME!
I'm a real pink lover, and this is my favourite pink. I also don't think it gets enough love. From last summer's Happy Go Lucky collection, here's Flirty! (and a cameo from angel and Febreeze)
This is what I wanted Pink Friday to be - just a speck lighter though.
It's bright enough to look good with my skin tone, and the awesome shimmer is a welcomed bonus!
Yeah, I just chopped my nails down so the nubbin wasn't so lonely. I'm rather fond of how they look right now actually. They'll never be perfect though....
Orly and I have a hit and miss relationship - some are like this which I'd never do without (Au Champagne and Royal Navy for example). Others are very "meh" and unoriginal to me.
I have so much stuff I want to post! I just don't know where to start - there always seems to be another new package in my mailbox which makes me forget about all the other wonders I have.

Orly Meet Me Under the Mistletoe
Hola people!
In honour of October being Depression Awareness Month, I'm going to swatch all my green polishes! I don't have that many (I think?) but I'm thinking it will be nice to go through them all.
I just bought this polish on the weekend and I'm loving it! It reminds me of a darker Zoya Ivanka actually. I'm kind of a Zoya fanatic and I'm sure I'll be showing you my lovelies as I go on.
Meet Me Under the Mistletoe is that perfect dark green I'd been looking for! My pictures aren't the greatest - I'm working super hard on them though.
